Since Hurricane Irma blew through South Florida, the bigger tarpon have shown up more and more each day. There is a ton of bait on the Gulf Coast and big schools of tarpon ranging from 40-100lbs. There is a lot of freshwater flowing through the Everglades, due to Irma, and has pushed a lot of fish. We have caught them on fly and plugs over the last few weeks. This is some of the best tarpon fishing of the year. There is not a lot of pressure but a lot of fish around. The Everglades right now is full of big tarpon, so give me a call and lets put some fish in the air!
