May is one of my favorite months to be fishing the Glades. There are so many fishing options down in Flamingo. This is a great time of the year for some big snook, as they are all moving out towards the Gulf, getting ready to spawn in June. Big females are cruising the shorelines looking to fatten up before June. The tarpon are all over the place, which is always a good thing. The redfish are starting to tail up on the flats, as we move into our calmer months.
