I have to say the fishing has really been incredible over the last few weeks in the
Everglades . We have found ourselves in some big tarpon and snook on the Gulf Coast and into some excellent snook fishing in the backcountry. There has been lots of 15 to 22 inch snook roaming around the
backcountry and not uncommon to have 30-40 fish days. So we had a great spawn in 2015 on snook, as these fish are 2-3 years old, and we should have a great winter of snook fishing ahead of us.
Today we getting our first cold front of the fall/winter which should temporarily shut down the big tarpon, but look for the calm warm days in between fronts, as they are the best tarpon fishing days of the year.
I got a picture of a surprise that was waiting for me yesterday at the ramp. I guess you never know what will happen down in Flamingo!
I have some open dates over the next few months and if the fishing right now is any indication of is in store for us, it is going to be good! Give me a call and lets get out on the water!
