It’s been a windy but very productive week down in the Everglades. Some days we were able to sight fish some redfish and snook and when the conditions didn’t allow for sightfishing, we got into some great trout fishing in the interior of the Glades. We caught our fish on both spin and fly tackle this week. We have some warm weather for the next week, so the tarpon fishing should be red hot like it was a few weeks ago. I can’t wait for these guys to flood the Everglades backcountry again!
I haven’t fished downtown Miami at night recently, but the reports have been absolutely ridiculous. From what I have heard from a few guide buddies, is they are thick and hungry. A great way to spend and evening!
