We have been fishing really hard lately and it’s been right outside of Flamingo. We are deffinitely in our late summer pattern of some great sight fishing. Sight fishing on the flats is deffinitely one of may favorite styles of fishing. It can be a challenge if you have never done this before, but an extremely rewarding experience.
This past week, the tailing redfish have been all over the place. Sometimes, the hardest decision is which tail to pole towards. We have caught fish up to 31 inches, which is a very solid redfish for Flamingo. Most redfish up on the flats are 22-25 inches.
The snook are still hanging around and we had some great shots on some fish over 10lbs., but they just wouldn’t commit.
