The fishing continues to be pretty good out of Flamingo, Everglades National Park. There has been a ton of ran and lot of freshwater flushing through the park. This is a good thing as we head into the Fall. The Fall and Winter is typically our drier seasons, so it is a good thing to see the water this high right now. The tarpon fishing continues to be pretty good, with lots of fish between 30-60 lbs. The snook fishing has really turned on lately, with some big fish mixed in. It should remain strong with all the freshwater cleaning it in the backcountry. I think the biggest surprise is the redfish. Lots of those on the flats and in the backcountry. This should keep the fishing strong as we head into the Fall. Looking forward to seeing some of our bigger tarpon show up with the mullet. This should happen any day now!
