I have spent this past week fishing deep in the Everglades due to the typical March winds. We have been pounding the bushes with flies and having lots of succes with snook and redfish. We are even getting into some chunky largemouth bass in some of the same waters. While hammering a shorline yesterday, we got suprised by a 30lb tarpon that sucked down an EP baitfish fly. What a great suprise! The Everglades is truly a special place because you just never know what’s around the next corner. Each trip is yeilding close to 15 snook from 18in-25in. with some redish thrown in there as well. Good time to be in the Glades.
