I spent the last 4 days fishing out of Flamingo and one day out of Biscayne Bay. We had some really good bonefish action in Biscayne Bay on Friday afternoon. There were a lot of fish moving around on the Oceanside flats.
The water and tides are still high down in Flamingo. The good thing is the fish are biting around the outside islands and also deep in the backcountry. Yesterday we ventured deep in the backcountry and had steady action at snook. We released over 10 snook on fly. The baby tarpon still continue to be very active in the mornings. So much fun to see these fish blow up a fly or topwater plug!
