The tarpon fishing has picked up over the last week and we have hooked and landed fish from 5 lbs. to over 80lbs. The baby tarpon fishing has been at the top of the list and they sure are fun to catch! We caught them using popper flies, top plugs, and jerkbaits. The rain that we have gotten has definitely helped the tarpon fishing. Seems like more fish are moving out from the interior to the coast, which is great from a fishing standpoint. Fortunately, this pattern should remain for the duration of the summer.
