Happy New Year!!! The fishing out of Flamingo has been pretty good. It has been very warm over the past week or so and the tarpon have showed up. When it’s warm and the wind lays down, it makes tarpon fishing very easy. Those days when the wind has laid down, we have hooked into a couple of monsters that I estimated to be in the 140lb class.
The redfish and snook have also been out in good numbers. Some days there are everywhere and others you really have to put your time in. We have been getting them on fly and light tackle which is alot of fun.
